Nate Chitwood
DIRECTOR
Nate Chitwood is the visionary who pioneered this film. Hearing about the state of the industry, he developed a passion for our lakes and their commercial fishery - ultimately resulting in the decision to make a film inviting others to share in the epiphanies.
Chitwood’s love for filmmaking drives him to excel in practically every aspect of making a film. He is a uniquely talented director, writer, and cinematographer - allowing him to rally people to bring his visions to the screen.
He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife Jenna and loves to write, read, cook, and think about the meaning of life while enjoying Michigan’s west-side sunsets.
Nate Morris
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Nate Morris has partnered with Chitwood on the film since its initial inception. As the owner of Minimal Media Co, a small production company based out of Grand Rapids, Morris has his hand in anything that helps the project along - often providing the infrastructure needed for a successful shoot.
An audio engineer by trade, you’ll find him holding a boom pole in an awkward position on set, but off set he is the one responsible for driving fundraising efforts, developing new relationships, and positioning the film for success overall.
When not working on the film he’s exercising his 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd, Storm, with his wife, Amanda, or most likely knee-deep in a random carpentry project that has been going on far too long.
Meet the Team
All of our team members need to wear multiple hats to keep the film progressing. Meet two of our most valuable team members who are in it for the long haul.
-
Cinematographer //A talented cinematographer whose attention to detail has its signature all over the film. Seth never runs out of energy on set, and if you need a well-thought-out opinion, he’s got one.
-
Aerial Photographer //The sensei of the skies, Cole has been the one behind all of the beautiful drone shots that make our film great. Flying a drone is like playing a real-life video game, and Cole has beat the game on expert mode.
